Creative Puppy Socialization at Home – April 9 @ 11 am (PST)
Creative Puppy Socialization at Home – April 9 @ 11 am (PST)
Presented by Dr. Ian Dunbar
1-hour seminar (45-minute presentation followed by 15-minute Q+A)
Socializing your puppy to lots of new people is the most important aspect of training a young puppy. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to do that safely right now in many parts of the world, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Socialization is still critical, but so are social isolation protocols to preserve the healthy of our communities, so what should you do?
Get creative! Introducing your puppy to new and unfamiliar people is an easy way to expose them to novel stimuli, but it’s not the only way. With a little creativity and effort there is a lot that you and the other members of your household can do to help prepare your puppy for a lifetime of new and novel experiences.
In this webinar, Dr. Dunbar will explain all of the things you should be doing now to make sure your puppy is ready for when the social isolation protocols are lifted.
